Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. General Shipping Overview

Bond of Colours ships all commercial and sample orders from our distribution facility in Illinois, USA. We specialize in secure, regulatory-compliant logistics for chemical products.

• Order Processing Time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST (Monday-Friday) are processed the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off or on weekends ship the next business day.

• Hazardous Materials: Some high-concentrate industrial dyes may require “Limited Quantity” labeling. We handle all HAZMAT documentation for ground transport.

2. USA Domestic Shipping

We deliver to all 50 states via our network of reliable carriers.

Samples (10g – 100g): Shipped via USPS Priority Mail or First Class Package.

• Rate: Flat Rate $10.00 USD (Includes handling & packaging).
• Transit Time: 2-4 Business Days.

Commercial Orders (1kg – 20kg): Shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Standard.

• Rate: Calculated live at checkout based on total weight and zip code.
• Transit Time: 1-5 Business Days depending on distance from MA.

Bulk/LTL (25kg+ Drums): Large orders may ship via LTL Freight (Palletized). Accessorials like Liftgate or Inside Delivery must be requested at checkout.

3. Canada International Shipping

We simplify cross-border logistics for our Canadian partners.

• Carriers: We use USPS International (handing over to Canada Post) for samples and FedEx International Connect for commercial drums.
• Customs & Duties (DDU):
  • Unless explicitly stated in a custom quote, all Canadian shipments are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).
  • The Buyer is responsible for paying any applicable GST/HST/PST and brokerage fees upon arrival. Bond of Colours provides the commercial invoice and NAFTA/USMCA Certificate of Origin to minimize tariffs where applicable.
• Transit Time: Typically 3-7 business days, subject to border clearance.

4. Order Tracking & Insurance

• Tracking: You will receive an automated email with your tracking number (FedEx/USPS) the moment your shipping label is generated.
• Insurance: All commercial shipments are insured up to $100 USD by default.
• Damaged Goods: If a drum or package arrives damaged (leaking powder, crushed box):
  • Do not refuse the package (this complicates the claim).
  • Take photos of the damage immediately.
  • Email sales@bondofcolours.com within 48 hours with your Order ID and photos. We will rush a replacement immediately.

5. Warehouse Pick-Up

Local to Illinois? You may arrange a pick-up at our Dorchester Center facility.

• Requirement: Pick-ups are by appointment only. Please select “Local Pickup” at checkout and wait for the “Ready for Pickup” email confirmation.
